United Way of Pullman is a voluntary non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a local network of social service, youth and health agencies for people who live and work in Pullman and Whitman County.

Funds raised during our annual fall campaign are allocated to our 20 member agencies that are  meeting critical service needs in our community and county.

Services vary as the needs do and include:
·   early learning services,
·   child care for low income families,
·   youth programs,
·   services for elderly and disabled, and
·   abuse prevention and treatment.

We are the best way to reach the most people.  United Way is our Palouse safety net with 98% of our funds spent locally. Only 5% is spent on administration and 10% on fundraising. We put your money where you want it to go—to help those who need it most.

Campaign 2008 is now 62.5 percent toward its goal of $165,000, thanks to generous contributions from individuals, companies, and employees of government agencies and Washington State University through the Combined Fund Drive.  Our aim is to come closer than ever before to meeting our agencies' needs, with your help.

To learn how your contributions make a big difference in Pullman and Whitman County, please click on links at left to our 20 agencies and to the page "Where your gifts go."

Pullman's United Way welcomes your support for our community and our member agencies all year round.  To volunteer your time and talents, please call or write to Debbie Sherman, United Way Executive Director.

To contribute, you may send a check to the mailing address shown above or you may  send in your pledge by email with the address at right.

Join your neighbors in working to change lives on the Palouse for the better through the work of our member agencies. Your support makes a difference for children, the elderly and those with special needs.

It is true: lives on the Palouse change
for the better when communities care.
